Re Deadspin comment on recommendations: god, what are you some kind of saint? I've known some teachers at my own school who wouldn't take that attitude...and they're the nice ones. Luckily, I'm good enough of a student to have been able to get every teacher I wanted. still, pretty impressive (hi, I'm a would-be commenter on deadspin under the name Carrubba Collision.
