We also went to the President's House and chanted "WE WANT LEE!" to his wife's great annoyance-- Lee was out of town on business. So we wandered over to the Diag.

When it comes to rioting, Little Bro actually is pretty freakin' awesome.

I was at the 2005 riot...what doesn't get in the papers is that when the cops tossed the tear gas, the students just dispersed into nearby stores/houses/apartments for a few minutes and waited for the gas to clear. Then they came out and started rioting again. Repeat about 8 times in less than 90 minutes. I'm not making this up.

Seriously, when the revolution comes I wanna be in East Lansing.

Noelnoelenergyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03596819351097108235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35971090.post-68813983721003497902008-04-09T14:03:00.000-04:002008-04-09T14:03:00.000-04:00Hey, I distinctly remember being part of a riot in...Hey, I distinctly remember being part of a riot in Ann Arbor after the hockey team won the national championship in '96. We started on South U, and... well, kinda wandered over to the law library, where the massive throng... um, sang the fight song and did a few Yost cheers before wandering over to the Union where we.. um, pretty much did the same thing. And then hung out on the Diag.

Nevermind.Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06752666301551891446noreply@blogger.com
